Combination class Kinesthetic Awareness and Yoga Practice
Upper body and backbend focus
Saturday, October 13th 9-11 am
Taught by Patience Armstrong ERYT500

This two hour class will combine 30-45 minutes of Kinesthetic Awareness, using balls to systematically release muscle tension with the remaining time in yoga poses. Using the balls prior to practice opens the body in new ways to deepen your awareness as well as your poses. This is a mixed level class opportunity with a range of ball firmness and yoga poses offered to meet individual student needs. Saturday morning focus upper body and backbends- great for anyone with neck, shoulder, and upper back tightness, stress or injury.

$25- Space is limited advanced registration is required

by the day before are subject to cancellation)

Lower body and hip-openers and foreward folds focus
Sunday, October 14th 2-4 pm
Taught by Patience Armstrong ERYT500

This two hour class will combine 30-45 minutes of Kinesthetic Awareness, using balls to systematically release muscle tension with the remaining time in yoga poses. Using the balls prior to practice opens the body in new ways to deepen your awareness as well as your poses. This is a mixed level class opportunity with a range of ball firmness and yoga poses offered to meet individual student needs. Sunday afternoon focus lower body and hip openers and forward folds- great for anyone with sciatica symptoms or hip, leg and lower back tightness, stress or injury.

Yoga Therapeutics and Kinesthetic Awareness Workshop
Saturday, November 3rd 9-11:30 am
Taught by Patience Armstrong ERYT500

In this workshop, students will learn how to align the body from the ground up so they can bring more consciousness to their actions and help their body to heal itself.  We will focus on alignment techniques to help open areas that cause restrictions, as well as specific therapy techniques for relieving stress on joints and healing injury, and as a manageable daily routine for enhancing flexibility and mobility in the major muscles of the body.  We will also practice some Kinesthetic Awareness techniques in which we will use balls to release muscle tension.
